Yup, thats Phil Daly, you described him to a tee. Phil has Gene Monahan's old car, the car John Wojo has is white with red lettering and I think it has stripes on the roof, it's been a while since I've seen it. It looks like the car in the video. Mark's car could very well be Andy Kinash's car. It's blue with flames I believe.

The wagon actually belonged to Joe Santangelo. I did drive it a few times. Most memorably, the 1972 Summer's semi final. Joe and I built it in 1971-72 ,out of a 307 fleet rental car. It is indeed ,the Andy Kinash Wizard car. I can't remember how it got there, but I know it went through Frank Tantillo, Fred Vetter, Parker Bros, I think,..then?

Said somthing like "Tim's ride in 85" on the rear deck. If you know Boudreau, you know how particular he is about his stuff. That wagon was painted to look like his SS car. Why anyone would repaint it is a crime. Steve Cultrera painted it & Bruce Deveau lettered it (those 2 are good) Bet you didn't know his first Camaro started life as a Firechicken! Bill Belmore had pics of Boudreau stretching the wheel wells between 2 trees! |
