It was featured by Doug Marion in the March 84 Super Chevy, more recently I built a 68 Chevelle stocker that had a tendancy to corkscrew rather noticably as it pulled the left front wheel, I called it "Yank". I built another one and called it Yank II when I sold the first one to Tony Janes, after we upgraded the rear suspension, it tamed them down considerably, speaking of Tony, he and Marv Ripes had a 57 Chevy stocker called the Powerglide Prosecutor. He has a 4 door Chevelle today called the Powerglide Prosecutor II. We also have a red 68 Chevelle wagon O/SA car called "the Mule." It was originally supposed to be a test mule for various drive line combinations. Let's hear some more from those days in So Cal racing!!

A few I either knew the owners and drivers of, or worked on:

Billy Hobbs' 62 Chevy II "Novacaine"
Billy Hobbs' 77 Hal Canode dragster "Short Circuit"
Wayne Basham's 68 Camaro "Rambunctious"
Alan Oakley's father owned a lumber company, so there were several cars in his stable named "Sawdust".
Jr. Crawford's 27 roadster "The Other Woman"

Kim & Wilbur Wright's "Wright On' C/G Cuda. Now that takes me back. Their previous car was a '66 Dart C/Gasser with the same name. After it rolled at OCIR we called that one "Wright Over". Kim wasn't hurt so we could laugh about it later. The Cuda was a much better car once it got sorted out. There were a lot of neat names on cars in the sixties and seventies. It was a great time to have been introduced to the sport.
