Evan,
With all due respect, and I have known you for a long time, you shouldn't come out here and cherry pick these threads and hammer people. You know a lot about these cars but you have chosen brand loyalty over offering the Stock racers any clarity on this issue. I know you are wearing many hats, writer/editor for a Mustang magazine, Mustang racer, SRAC member etc., but take a look at what is going on with this mess. In addition, the FRP folks are unwilling to publish any performance data on the new CJs - is there any wonder that misinformation becomes a problem? You could do all the racers a serious favor by posting some honest numbers on these cars before others do it. This is a hot story and many folks are very curious about the real performance of these cars. Right now, it looks like Ford has pushed a ringer into the regular Stock classes. On their second outing, the CJs are out performing the best cars in the country. One of the members from the Ford camp in Phoenix said they have not tried to push the cars yet. We are a small community of people and we need answers. Thanks.
