Don't know about the Hemi's but the 360 is about 75 horse power below what it should.

In reponse to the horsepower factor numbers released for the 360 Magnum motor in the new Challengers, Jeremy said, "Don't know about the Hemi's but the 360 is about 75 horse power below what it should." sic.
Wondering about what kind of engine specs could have elicited such a remark, I decided to go into the NHRA "Engine Blueprint specs" page and see just how this engine stacks up against the SBC motors and Ford Clevelands. It's not there. No specs are available from the NHRA website for this motor. At least, I can't seem to find them. I have not seen any specs ANYWHERE for any of these new factory "Challenger" motors. To assume that it's just going to be an (IHRA) "crate motor" is assuming too much, I would think. Where are the specs for this engine, and how can we access them? Anyone know? And, if they are not available yet, how can ANYONE think that the factor is wrong, if they don't have access to the mechanical specs that determine that factor? I'm confused.... Bill
