This race is a rain magnet. Still looks like a bad weekend.

I think thats why the SPORTSnationals is so big. Becuase, you don't have to pre-register, you dont have to have any grade points. If you got a car that is legal, show up and race.

Last years race had beautiful weather for all the days of the parking and the race. It was the first time in years but it was good in 2008. The 2007 race was a complete was out for the sportsman categories. Most had to be towed out of the track through the mud a week later. Been there when it rained buckets. Now I just pass it up and it looks like others are doing the same.
My 2 cents

Ed, don't look at the quota numbers. look at last years numbers. 207 sportsman one less class. If there was another class it would have been about the same.

You can spin the numbers anyway you want, but so far the numbers are about the same as last year. If things go down hill then you can say I told you so.

I'm little tired of all the NHRA bashing. I don't understand why so many racers bash NHRA and still show up at the track.

Ed, you were at most of the same racers I was last year, if NHRA is so bad why do you support them?

Terry, I may be a sheep, but I'm having fun.

Ken,

A lot of us have issues with the arrogance and hypocrisy of nhra's management. We don't have issues with the hard working nhra folks that we deal with at nhra events. Also, we attend the nhra races because they provide a meeting place for all of our friends from around the region. Of course we pay for this service.

Kenny,SEB's post more clearly says what my feelings are.The rotten head is killing the body. And you know that I make my own good times at the races. It's the somewhat unwarranted costs that they are placing on us that's getting to me.
And you're not a sheep,you're a silly little wabbit.See you soon.

Ed
