I'm with Joe on this one......... last season I had to forego some Fridays because of work commitments....... so the tech and a time run on Saturday is great...... but making it a Saturday/Sunday race sounds better yet........

with virginia being a nine hour ride home, i loved having it completed on saturday. whats the difference for someone who is going to miss friday any way. you would still only get one qualifier on saturday at most races. i hope to see it stay that way.

Its a great idea but with Alcohol and Top Sportsman classes included it looks unlikely that they will finish in one day..........

600 miles is a long way for a two day race. I wish Div.1 would back to back some Nationals and Divisionals like they do at Phoenix and LasVegas. At Richmond we could all go hang out at Sterling's house for the week. lol

They did the same thing last year but it was not planned that way. It was scheduled for Saturday and Sunday but due to expected rain on Sunday they ran it all on Saturday. I think it's a much better schedule. I really like seeing all the stocker rounds in one day....Not spread out over 3 or 4 days.

I wouldn't miss work on friday....I leave after work and drive through the night on friday, race on saturday and sunday... home for sunday/monday morning and not have to miss a days work...a little sleep deprivation never bothered me....I'd rather be dead on my feet at work than not there at all.
