Ok so we are going with the nova. The 250 hp motor is a 350 ci defactored to 230 hp, this is a 2 bl. combo, you will be in the same class as the 305 4 bl chevys & some fast 302 fords. Look at the 300 hp 350 or the 350 hp 402. You could also claim the 255 hp 69 motor I think. Your index would be 13.00 L/S is correct for automatic & stick. Hope this helps . Good luck
