350/250 or a 350/300 combo in a 1970 NOVA is a natural G car.
You can run F-G-H
Also you can run a 350 /255 1969 motor and claim your car a 1969 and run the same classes

Although it's a lot less glamourous, you can run as a '71 with a 250/145 six banger in U or as a '70 with a 230/140 in V. I warn you, though, that itty bitty 1 bbl carb doesn't like bad air. (But it worked for me and still works for Billy!).
