I was told they didnt run the dryer down the track, after it had rained enough, after they had done the first burnouts. Sounds like they both hit some water way down track , WJ just treaded it a little better !

johnny gray was not a happy man on the top end, understandably so. watching the slow motion you can see the car with both left side tires off the ground, then both rights off the ground. he did one hell of a job driving

WJ was also skating around he only went across at 180 mph down about 30 mph from what he had been running.

I feel a rerun should have happened.

I was sitting at the 330' cone on the pit side and, believe me, Johny Gray did one great driving job. It is amazing that he kept it shiny side up and off both walls. The only question that I had after the incident was did he only have to change his shorts or did he have to change his driving pants also? LOL
