He has enough money to own every stocker and S/S car in the eliminators.

Can you imagine being 22 and have that kinda money?Krap I'm 41 one and can't imagine what that would
be like?I hope to save enough to go racing one Saturday night soon!!! Seems to take a year or two save
for one Pro Am. Like the old saying "Why could'nt I been born rich instead of so good looking"LOL LOL
You got the money you can fix ugly.I like Alan Johnson he can make them fast with big or small budget
without splattering the engine every pass.

Despite the lack of Stockers and Super Stockers that is one of the best written articles on drag racing in a non automotive publication I have ever seen.

Bobby,

In addition to your suggestion, what I wish he'd consider is getting a tv cable network (or buy Speed Channel), where we could have another venue by which to showcase our sport instead of ESPN!! Ever since they embraced that circle-jerk sanctioning body (that crashes alot), our sport has seen it's worst tv coverage since ABC's Wide World of Sports, and you don't see any "This Week in NHRA" shows do ya??? I dream of the 80's & '90's when "Diamond P Sports" worked with "The Nashville Network" to really give NHRA coverage (that wasn't pre-empted for college basketball)! Moreover, our sportsman classes were given much better tv coverage than we've been blessed (cursed) with lately---anyone remember the "Direct Tv" coverage of the 1996 Fram/Autolite Southern Nationals, I had the pleasure of working at a satelite company that allowed me to get a guy to tape that whole race for me (thank you VHS). I get to enjoy everything from the 2nd round of Stock & Super Stock Eliminator, all the way to the finals (way to go Scotty Richardson, & Peter Biondo)!!!

I sure hope that when NHRA's contract with ESPN ends, that he will have seen enough of our sports bogus tv coverage, and gives our sport a new tv outlet, to give nascar loving espn THE BOOT!!!
To borrow from a 70's song... "I LIKE DREAMING"!!!
