Cal-Tracs Equipped Car "bucking" on launch

While I've never tested what I was told, I was told not to put traction/slapper bars on my Mopar because the front spring eye was too far forward and the bar would push behind it and cause a spring issue. Before John came out with his setup all I ever used were S/S springs, with solid front bushing and an adjustable pinion snubber.

Hell my dad ran 4 speeds for years with Ladder bars and leaf springs. Went 9.00 150 with a Hemi and a 4 speed. Guess you cant run leafs with bars.

changing from lower to upper hole changes instant center location, go back to the lower holes, start shocks on number 2 and stop binding the suspension with so much pre load.

Lower hole will soften the hit. Tighten up your rear shocks, I run the ranchos they recommend with my bars as level with the ground as possible. Just my 2 cents..

I had actually built a set of bars like the caltracs. I ran the bottom bar level with the ground. after running these for 10 years, the right rear stock leaf spring decided it didnt want to go down the track anymore, so I put some ladder bars and coil overs on it.

My father also recently put the mono leafs and Cal Tracs on his car and is seeing similar bucking but not to the level that I am.

Can you get 5-6" ? That is what was suggested for my car.
