I can't believe actually having to make a QUALIFYING pass in a qualified field is too much to expect !
They must think there is a benefit of being at the bottom of the qualifying list ?

There are quite a few that like to go bracket racing on Saturday then show up Sunday morning... Like Mr. Beard and Richard Alford for example.

Ive only done this once a few years ago, my son had a ball game, I missed the 2 qualifing sessions but can the combo Saturday night with no time run. So I got 3 runs in the Saturday night combo race then raced on Sunday. With this option I miss the race.

No, it's not, but it had been legal at "single" Pro-Am events where there was no scheduled Sunday qualifying run, which generally happens because of the Church "blue laws" where most Carolina races can't start before Noon. The rule has been changed, so we'll run by the new rule.

Can't speak for everyone, but for me, as Lee said, I'm just trying to run multiple series at the same time, and it's not possible for me to be everywhere at once. On two occasions, I have run a bracket points race on a Saturday night, and then come into Kinston on Sunday morning with no qualifying run -- don't really care where they put me on the ladder, I just wanted to race. That being said, it's not really that fair, because I could study the ladder and determine which class I needed to be in to avoid heads-up runs.

I missed Coastal Plains last week because of a Saturday bracket points race that I had to attend. Having never been to Coastal Plains, I couldn't justify the expense while "flying blind" (I at least had data on Kinston from past years). If Coastal Plains had a Sunday qualifying run, I would've gone. I think some of the smaller car-count races could have a Sunday time trial.

My personal opinion only,
