On a regular Sunday bracket race the curfew on Sunday is 7:30 pm. Strictly enforced. I heard earlier that they would run to 10 PM tonight....I can only assume they have a waiver for this event to go later if necessary.........

My view of the event is.....E-Town is a tough place to run a race like this anymore because of the curfews. Can't start engines before 10 am and can't run past 6pm during the week. I'm not sure what the curfew times were during this event..... All NHRA national events are going to be the same as far as Sportsmen racers are concerned.....If things go wrong schedule wise because of weather.....Sportsman categories are going to sit while the Pro's run......

E-Town is 1 hour from my home.....If I was racing this event.....I might still be there!

I refuse to race with the NHRA National Event Circus....no matter where it is....

Oil wasn't the problem.Alexis DSeJoria and Marty Nothstein went into the pea gravel back to back.
Nothstein stopped before the net but Dejoria center punched the catch net pretty hand. The front end was 90 degrees from the rest of the car.
All and all in spite of the bad weather things actually went pretty well.Joe Mocci mugged Strange Eng. for $3,500 for the Perfectly Strange award.Way to go Joe Zoom.I gave it away by .004 in the 3rd rd. but at least I'll get a check in the mail.
Saw Ray Scardelli's Capri and Joe Martens Camaro.Wow.

I agree with you Rich, E-Town is 1-1/2hrs for us from NYC, I love the facility, we might go again sometime in the future, but for now, we really dont miss the Nationals.

Well, I'll give them credit for at least evidently trying to get the race in tonight.
