Well folks, I thought this would never happen. The picture below is Larry with his arms around me and Bill Hawk. Now before everyone thinks the Larry is friends with me and Bill, look at his hands very close. I can assure he has a tight grip on me and Bill, we had no choice. Sorry for the picture quality.

Question Re: Live from Norwalk!

Kenny -- Quality of the picture ? I don't think so -- that photo had to be a ' touched-up ' deal as the three of you have never agree on anything let alone taking a picture together .Its good that you fellas are bonding ...what a Kodak moment ! ! ....maybe you can make plans for an Indy bar-b-q or something .Play nice this morning boys ..................

Per Mom this morning, starting line is HORRIBLE. They made a couple of stocker runs then stopped to make the starting line better. She'll post more latter.

Also, is Miele a levitation artist? All I can see is his head bobbing up and down

After sitting in the scorching sun to watch 90 something stockers go down, I have now got back to the motorhome to the air conditioning and I may not go back out again. The starting line was absolutely horrible this morning. They have new sealant and I think they decided that everyone was getting that on their tires and then spinning. They attempted to run about 30 cars with stopping in between and doing something else to the track and then finally stopped and scraped everything. They let those first 30 or so get another run, but it still was really terrible. There may have been 10 cars that made a decent run. We had a 1.43 60' and ran 10.55 in A/SA. We thought we would be middle of the pack in A/SA but we are way at the bottom. Larry is re-jetting now. The air is absolutely horrible also. I will get the exact figures after I cool off.

Now for the picture--I thought that was a good one of all 3 of them. Contrary to popular belief, we do like Bill and Ken. Larry even had breakfast with Bill this morning. I didn't get over in time. His friend Mr. Eddie Cook is a great cook so I hear. Very nice man, too. I talked with him a bunch last night.

Well more later.

Anyone know why there is a delay in posting the runs?

Hi there, Bill IS a nice guy if talking about Hawk and Mr. Cook IS a great chef. He is always cooking for everyone when we go places. He is the nicest man you'll ever meet and will do anything for anyone. The reason I know this is because he is my Father. Anyway, I can't wait to meet all of you. My first race was when I was 3 years old. Just ask Dad and he'll tell you. P.S. I was the one that said here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus...Have a great weekend. Dad told me on the phone that you were a really nice man. See, everyone just needs to get along and quit the trash talking.

Well Boster beat us on the tree and outran us but just barely. The loser had to shuck the corn for supper. Lance Line blew the tires off.

Is Bill or Eddie your dad? Both are nice men.

Well, more later.

Here is a picture of my car and Rock Haas in tech this morning. Its a super nice ride, man I'm jealous. I wanted to post early in the day, but class was more work than I thought it would be.

I should have been beat in the first round of class by David Barton. David Barton has to be the fastest AA car in the country right now along with John Shaul. I don't care what the CJ's are running, they have not won Class and so until they beat someone, David and John are the cars to beat. David spun pretty bad, so I was able to move to the next round. My car was not running the way I thought it should have. We only had 3 runs on the engine so I was hoping every run it would get quicker. Special thanks to David Barton for helping me cool the car down after his lost to me. Also thanks to Bill Hawk, If not for him I would have never been here.

The final round of class for AA had me and John. The air was about 4400ft, with a barometer of 28.89 and the temp 95. We picked the up car a few more hundreds, but had nothing for the old Fox. Every time we race class John always has something for me. Had lots of fun, even without the class win, great job John.

I'm sure Patsy and Larry have more to add to the happenings at Norwalk, this is just a little part of my story.
