Talking Re: Dead Battery at Denver

If anyone knows my car it's pretty much stock stock, anyway, I was at the Gator's and my dial was incorrect, so after doing the burn out I got up next to Stewart and blew my horn at him to show that my dial didn't match my window. I think that I scared a good 5 years out of him! Maybe that's why he doesn't like sportman racers! LOL!

Default Re: Dead Battery at Denver

Not sure if he was always as nice about it, but at my first national event ever (as a 20 year-old kid racing Super-Gas, there at the track by myself) I had a starter solenoid fail. Buster came up and asked where my crew was, I told him there were three of us, me myself and I. He had a good laugh, and showed me where to push and get it out of the way. They let me jack up the car and work on it just off to the side, since I didn't have anyone there to tow me back. I guess times have changed. RIP, Buster!
