Just got a e-mail back from Jr.
Said he is O.K. and picking up the new car today. First wreck, should have lifted sooner, but didn't come to lose. Will be able to fix this car before he forgets what color it is. |

Charlie was not injured with his incident against the right wall. Using properly installed, up-to-date safety equipment does work. It looked like the car was going to hit the wall head on but the rearend swung around at the last second pancaking the entire right side. A check of the car later back in the pits did not show any apparent damage to the rollcage or floorboards, just sheet metal/fiberglass damage on the right side. Travis |
