Sorry I didn't know this was a footbrake race. Either way I still say the guy did a heck of a job and should be very proud. Joe

I heard they were going to REQUIRE delay boxes next year to loosen up the packages!
![]() ![]() ![]() They had to replace the printer in the timeslip booth because it ran out of zeros. Just on Friday alone, I was double-entered and was .012, .009, .016, .014, .011, .009, .001, .025, .013..... and IN THE WAY. It was ridiculous. Still a good time and great to be a part of, but it was amazing to hear some world-class drivers saying things like, "I used to think I was a pretty fair driver". Just a couple of examples.... In the Shootout, Doyle Kay is .000 and takes .005 stripe for the L. One pair, the announcer says, "They're both dead late... they're .015 and .017..." ![]()

That is a good example of making a comment without knowing ALL the facts! Sorry Manny, I'll give ya a hug next time I see ya! Jim
"LOL..That's either a brilliant funny haha, or you are a total blithering idiot." This is a first for me! I don't think I have ever been accused of being both in one post before! Jim

lol..I had a feeling that may have been the case..especially you being from FLA., and it was no accusation! ..Cheers.
..On a sidenote- I was .020 and dead on in round 2 of the shootout, and was junk to my man's .003 and spitting brake dust in my face..rough crowd.

With roughly a second head start if you are looking at the other guy then you've already lost, unless he goes red!! How can you question a -.005 red light??? Just a tough break on Manny's part, that's all! Congrats on your runner up!! Damn, he lost in the 9th round........he sucks!!!

I was reading some of the results on this race at Drag Race Central.Truly some amazing packages for a "footbrake" race.
Are any two-steps,trans brakes,or buttons allowed in this,or is it truly "footbrake"? |

My *losing* runs of the weekend were .009 and .03 over .013 taking .001 -.001 red .023 taking .008 .033 taking .007 .020 dead-on with a zero -.003 red, dead-on with a 2 .039, under .003 .017, double breakout by .001 -.010 red Yah. It was like that. Lord, that was like two months worth of racing. Glad that's out of the way! ![]()
