I don't consider myself a newbie or a wannabe, I consider myself a Class racer. If there are heads up runs HELL yeah I'm in ,if I get stomped well I can only look at myself to lay blame. Yes there are guys who can outspend me but there's guys that can outspend them. I chose my combo nobody made me go this route I have to do the best I can with the stuff I have. I thought that was the idea, pick a combo and do the best you can with it if you can make it fly then good for you, if you can't you have more choices change your combo, spend more time, money ect.Myself I get a good feeling when someone stops at my pits and says man this stuff is really fast, be it true or not that makes me feel good. I don't hold it against anyone who choses to be a Checkbook racer, hey if they have the money and the desire what the heck come join the party. How many cars do you think would be a a race if only the guys that do their own stuff raced? As with most things it is what you make of it if you're a negative person than everything you do has a negative tone and vice versa. We all have to remember we live in the best country in the world, my father and alot of peoples moms and dads risked their lives so we can enjoy living here, as someone posted "if you don't like the heat stay out". If it doesn't suit you then I guess maybe you have the wrong hobby and remember this is just a hobby, I'm unaware of anyone who makes their entire living solely from their race winnings. So we all need to do an ego check and remember why we started down this path, yes I'd love to have the fastest A B C D whatever but I don't I have to accept the fact that I probably never will but I just keep on keepin on.
