Boudreau won the race even in this situation based on the better reaction time! He got there first.

One of them was going to get tore down anyway.

DeFrank was only behind by .002 at the 1000ft. he was catching him and every mark and was going to get around boudeau if he stayed in it.

Well, it is official--5 cars were pitched--Holzman AA/SA, Nicholson A/SA, Pierce, Bishop B/S, Boudreau.

The final sheet still is not out. I am going to figure out who we have in the morning.

More later. It is dinner time. Larry is supposed to cook cabbage and kelbasa, but I think he just wooshed out on me. So I guess it is leftovers.

Chad Holzman wasn't tossed so he must have won. Looks like the runnerup got tossed.

Jim Boudreau is all about class. He was .002 to the good at the 1000' mark and at that point the contest was very much up in the air. Jim DeFrank dumped and Jim took the win. THEN after the race Jim Boudreau ran the numbers on his time slip and determined that DeFrank would have won the race. NEXT Jim Boudreau took the class trophy over to Jim DeFrank's pit and gave him the trophy - saying that it looked like Jim DeFrank would have been the clear winner. The Boudreau and DeFrank camps have a great deal of respect for each other. I hope this balances Jim Boudreau's Karma account. Not that he needs it.

How do you take a trophy to give to someone else when the trophy is not in your possession? I never got mine until after the teardown. Has something changed? lol
