How about Buckshot II...there was one....and he won two WCS races in a row with it if I remember right. I raced the same car and class so I was well aware of Larry's exploits with his. He was a very good driver and his cars were fast.....

You're right Rich. Dad bought that car from him in the early 70's. It was a 68 SS Nova. Tom Sheehan had posted some pics of it at Pittsburgh.

I remember runing the 68 Nova at 75-80 several time for class with my 69 Corvette. Needless to say I didnt get to run the eliinator as we had to win class first....lol. I did get close a couple of times.

I don't think Larry had Jenkins engines in his stockers. From what I always read they teamed up from Jenkins seeing how well Larry drove. Larry told me a little about how he ran his car one night at the Grove and he was running a tenth under our record. Mostly less gear in the rear and maybe the trans. and I do recall he had some real long collectors on it....It was definately working as I saw him running 12. teens and I think that was the WCS race that he won....I believe he also won up at Cayuga at the next race...
