The answer is yes... the tunnel goes under the track to the pits on the other side... Here is an "above" view I took last year.........

There are two tunnels at Zmax...one near the starting line and one about 3/4 track. Pretty cool to be in the tunnel when a couple top fuelers go by!

We have and old saying here in NC "If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it will change " I have seen the forecast be for 2 inches of rain and never see a drop. Looking forward to a good day at the races Saturday!!!!
