Captain Jack -- Thanks for thinking of me but years ago I had to be pulled out of the pits not once but twice at Columbus by a backhoe -- that my friend was enough to cure me of Columbus !

Well it was raining earlier this morning, but we finally got our first run in. There were 65 or so cars that went down. It is now overcast and windy and cool. I will find out what the temp and all was and post in a bit.

Yep. It ranks in the top 2 of the tracks I dread going to. You know it's bad when they pull you INTO your pit spot when you get there and then pull you out of it to leave.

When we ran there were 69 cars, it was 68 degrees with a DA of 1610.

Just made our second run. Some were even quicker this run. Irvan Johns went 9.97 for #1 spot. We are going out to make some pics.

According to Mike Fuller--the bad news is it is going to rain tonight.

Good new is it is supposed to move on out and not rain tomorrow.

Right now it is sprinkling and everything has stopped. They were supposed to do clean-up runs, but I imagine those are cancelled with the rain.

I took a few pics that I will try to post a little later tonight.

Just got home from the day at the track. I thought it went well, considering they were forecasting a chance of rain today. At least it stayed away and I got to enjoy seeing Stk and SS qualifying.
