"Live from Memphis"

Well we are on our way home now. We watched the 2nd round, then packed up and headed home. Larry is trying to decide if he wants to go on to Louisville this evening to Ohio Valley and the National Open. I told him to just drop me off at home. I think I can be more productive mowing the yard.

Well good luck to our good friend and neighbor Jerry Bennett. He's hot--.006 light in the first round and .008 light in the second. He also won the points race there at Memphis last spring.

Larry / Patsy,

Was there any teardowns in Stock or S/S @ Memphis ? How did the car get teched
with the wrong hood in the first place ?..........

It not the wrong for the car, the car is a natural "C" car with the flat hood hood. This means it cannot run "A"

Kyle Fickler ran Topeka points meet and Indy with flat hood on his clone 08 Mustang cobra jet, They told him at the next race he had to change the hood. They made him take the Shelby sticker`s off in tech, Tom

Dave, there was not any teardown of stock or superstock at memphis.

Evidently someone noticed the flat hood and that it would not fit in A/SA and alerted a tech official. On the thread on here from Floyd Russo, Jr. "Is it a west coast thing?", someone had taken a picture of the hood that he has posted on that thread. That was put on there on Friday. I just wished they had posted the new ladder on Friday also. Oh well.

Looks like there will not be much racing today if the radar is right. It rained all night here in Arkansas and it was heading that way. Looks like a Monday finish to me.
