Yeah, you got me on that one Little Bubba, he did use up his "show up points", so I guess he's going to have to get a ride out there, and do what Ed showed he needs to do in order to reach the top, but as Ed said, "you gotta believe"...I think it would be pretty cool if he can pull it off, but even if not...GREAT SEASON DUSTAN....WAY TO GO!!!

By the way Dusty, if you do make it out this way, and race the Divisional, then I'd give you a HIGH FIVE for your awesome season, but now you have to hope that there's a few (+) cancellations since Stock is at 132 entries...so much for the economic state of America (I guess those economist were correct, we are on the rebound)???

Dusty doesn't need a cancelation, if he is within striking distance he gets a waiver.

Thanks for that correction Greg....well then Dusty, I hope you get a ride out here, so I'll have a chance to read about you in 'Vegas next weekend, because I'll certainly be rooting for you!!!

Talking Re: NHRA Stock World Champ Predictions

I think this was discussed in a past thread, but if you flew into the Las Vegas Airport and wanted to try and rent a car to race, what vehicle would be the best to try and get that might come close or under the index?
It would be a longshot, but as Ed Fernandez said....You gotta believe!

Edmond Richardson takes over the points lead by advancing to the 4th round at Noble, now he has a bye into the 5th round. Good job both Anthony and Edmond on a great year and a nail-biter at the end!!

I agree with you Tony, because according to my math, Dusty would've had to win both national events to earn the 210 points available from them. However, he'd be erasing 101 points from his 40pt E'town race, and his 61pt Reading race. If Edmond rec'd those incremental rnd. points he's now at 665, and the closest Dusty's net total would be is 664. There are some other guys out there in the mid-400's who have only run 3nats, and 5divs, but they would've needed to be at Noble, and neither of them showed up (plus Tim Mosbek). Bottom Line:

CONGRATULATIONS "EDMOND RICHARDSON JR." THE 2009 STOCK ELIMINATOR WORLD CHAMP!!!
