There are three Chevrolet "290" heads.
1968 327/250 small block 3917290 1965-1970 396-402 big block oval port 3964290 and the one Adger mentioned. |

Not speaking for Jim , but the heads in question are indeed the BBC version!!
Not sure on the casting dates, but I believe they have a Mcdowell look to them!!! Good luck with the sale......happy hunting!!!!! GREG
