Ed said,
"come to bed now." Getting into bed with you, Ed, is not something I'd ever want to do, even if I WERE on medications. They don't make one that strong... Hunt for a bed partner somewhere else...

The handicap system is in place to somewhat equalize performance advantages in the different classes (at least during qualifying). The "unintended consequence" of the first red light loses rule is, it is an absolute contradiction to first or worst.
It has nothing to do with track prep or clean trees or weather. Attempting to prop up those as reasons for not changing the track timing systems' computer software is deflection and obfuscation. |

Actually you are supposed to sack out with the cows in the back 40.Maybe you can organise them to demand more ergonomic nipple cups.

Ed,
There's no such word as "organise." Maybe you should have gone to school in Arkansas... Are you trying to divert attention away from the part of this discussion you don't understand??? That would be the part about the worse red light system; right???? Try to stay on point.... We might be accused by the original poster of trying to hijack this thread.... (OH NO, MR. BILL!!!!)

For your information Mr Grammer Whiz,my spell check doesn't recognise an error with the spelling. Doesn't take the fact away that you still have wayyyyy too much time on your hands with this red light crusade.

>>>"you still have wayyyyy too much time on your hands with this red light crusade."
Well, Ed, you remember that I have posted, that, having it explained to ME, in detail, by the guy who thought it up, it took me at least a couple of months (maybe more) to "get it" regarding just how this current system (FIRST RED LIGHT) puts the first car to leave at a tactical disadvantage? I was a "quick study" compared to you. I have explained it seventeen different ways, making it as simple as I possibly could, just for YOU, (since you race a car that is probably the first to leave 90-percent of the time.) But, you still don't seem to comprehend that the First Red Light system, which was put into place 36 years ago (because they had NO CHOICE at the time, and has been putting the first-to-leave car at a strategic disadvantage ever since,) can be changed to a system that gives an advantage to NO ONE, and do it in such a way that absolutely NO CHANGES will be necessary in the driving protocol, and the change will go almost totally unnoticed by everyone except when a dual red light occurs, and the second car to leave, bulbs worse then the first. That doesn't happen very often at all... very infrequently, so, it's a change that wil be invisible most of the time, except for the red light for EITHER lane, not showing, until a few milliseconds after the second car has left the line. During those few milliseconds, the 'tree's computer wil compare the two lights and award the win light to the lane with the lesser offense. Just like it does in a breakout situation. Don't you think a system that gives an advantage to NO ONE is better than a system that favors one segment of the cars in contention, or the other??? If you think that one segment deserves an advantage, tell me why. I'm all ears... P.S.: You need a better spell-checker.... P.P.S.: Why are you concerned that I have a lot of spare time; jealous????????

Let's not forget that his math equalled your math, but he just wouldn't see that??? He didn't see that anymore than he see's your obvious logic...what can we say??? I'm glad that he's leary of Tempe, Az., because our city doesn't need him or his mindset....however, I still want to race him, just so I can do my best to put him in his place---the grandstands watching me in the next round!!!
