It's pretty easy to explain, Comp participation is down because the economy sucks!!!!!!!!!
Just the same as the 'PRO' numbers are down, it costs a bunch 'o cash' to run 'em. Comp guys are mostly filled with small business fellas, that are without sponsorship, that love to race on their own dime but will stop participating when the high cost affects them having a roof over their head or not! It'll come back, have some patience ya'll.

Mr. Don Kennedy.....Why don't you run comp? The sunfire would make a good comp car,
put a hood scoop on it and the way you go. You did say(I like comp). Nothing personal. Your right about comp running in super stock and mod. super stock running in comp. Just like some fuel injection cars can run in stock or super stock. It is what it is. The economy is the toll factor right now, I personally would like to try comp one day . Just my 2 cents for brainstorming..................... Last edited by Ron Traupman; 12-11-2009 at 11:57 PM. |
