Drooze don't be to concerned about the comments from some here on this forum. Most don't build their own cars, some don't tune their own cars, some don't drive their own cars and some do none of the above. Just build the thing and you'll either shut them up or not. Times a wasteing and you are wasteing your time trying to convince people on this forum. Time better spent in the shop.

Lol....it a joint effort here at the shop, its entertainment....It gives my back and knees a break every now and then to sit in the office.
But youre right and I know exactly what you are saying, I just want to make my point and position 100% clear so there isnt any "liberal interpreation" What "bothered" me, and something did, is the insinuation from several that I insulted people by saying I believed I could do something that they dont believe they can....that just seems strange to me.... I posted the "facts" for the record and even PM'd one person to explain some things I felt personal, only to have the very act of doing that thrown back at me with the insinuation that it was "rude insanity" Oh....well.. Thanks for the advice....well taken, and agreed..... Cheers Its fun for all here at the shop, Quote:

I would guess there are alot of combos in the guide that haven't been exploited yet. For me personaly I drive a Dodge diesel 3/4 ton to work every day that runs high 13s and gets over 25mpg so I really can't see building a racecar that is slower than my every day junk hauler. But it seems that a lot of people seem to enjoy it and thats what counts in the end. Having fun in what you do.

Dunno if this was pointed out earlier, but there is a movie (about ten years old) called "DROWNING MONA," a farce/murder-mystery (FUNNY!!!), starring Bette Midler about a murder (hers) in a tiny town in an unknown state. Lots of footage of the streets in that little town, and quite a bit of traffic on the streets, for such a small place.
EVERY CAR ON THE STREETS OF THAT TOWN IS A YUGO!!! One has a messed up transmission and will only go in reverse... LOL! Somebody said there were a few Plymouth Horizons disguised as Yugos running around, but I only saw the movie once, and didn't see that... Anyway, just sayin'.... ![]()

You sure it wasnt "A Day in Hell ?" .....no I didnt see that, but now I might, I love Yugos......the epitome of cheap......, I heard nick and Noras infinite Playlist has a few in it same kinds of gags.....
Little buggers are scarce, I tried to buy one about 4 years back.....looked for 6 months, only ones out there were in Vegas and Washington state.....wanted to use the front subframe out of a GM 6 fwd, throw some hacked looking R5 looking flares on it, big tires and some zoomies out of a bunch of old motorcycle pipes I have (all different of course) just make it look as utterly absurd as possible and go out and for $2500 have a hell of a lot of fun with the "rice boys" and their "tuner" cars.......never could find one and moved on to stupider and uglier projects. I like the disguised Idea too.........tricky....... Quote:
