From the whole Northrop family, RIP Jim. We send our condolences to Tracey and the family.
Just like everyone reading this, he made everyone smile around him. He was a huge help to me when I started racing and he always was “Happy” to see me succeed. He did that for everyone, because that’s how he was, an all around great guy. The story’s and memories I have of him are nothing but fun times. I know everyone feels that way. Our hearts are very heavy today. We were most fortunate to be able to have known The Shoe and his wife. He always carried a joke and a big heart wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by everyone. R.I.P. "Big Jim" and God Bless...
To share a small memory, i was at Atco bar and a little over the top and told Jim that i was afraid i couldn't get back to the motorhome and he assured me that If I fell down, he would carry me to the motorhome......so now, god gets to carry him to heaven and the memories will live on.....
