How the factory "Package" cars may save Stock

Forget the factory Package Cars for a moment. They cost too much $. Trying to find a '60-70' body is more than a RWD '90-00' car. Allow all FWD car to convert to RWD. That means more cars availablle to compete. Secondary markets to produce the motor plate, trans conversion, etc. You can then see your own everyday car as a race car. Isn't this how we all got started. We hot rod our own cars and eventially they became dedicated race cars. Won'tthist keep the flow of youth in the sport? I'm still trying to figure out, do I build a SE motor or a crate engine". The body work on a older car gets pretty pricey. A rust free car costs allot as a basic roller. Or just do what IHRA does and do the conversion and run a crate motor. A good crate motor is close to the price of a SE motor. Remeber K.I.S.S. and always have fun when racing.
