Pull all the chips, footbrake it and shift manually for 1 run.

One step further, take the 2 step loose. I have had bad chip do this, and also had a bad 2 step do this.
Unhook 2 step, footbrake and shift by hand. See what you get. Good luck. Ken |

I have another two step and some other chips. So I will run the test next time out and replace items as required. |

Though it has not been to the track it has seen the street a fair amount. Though not really street friendly it manages to get me to a couple of cruises a month. So I would not think the springs are an issue but I will grab a set of gaskets and pull the covers to take a look and check them.
I still think it must be something to do with the MSD. |
