No this is not due to car count. I t is due to the fact that there are sponsors that have brought this to the table and it has done well. These kids are the future of our sport and i have watched some already advance to the pro-am classes and have done well for themselves.,. We usually run the jr's to a finish while we are running the qualifying and time trials , before eliminations begin with the pro-am cars the jr's are done. Car count has nothing to do with it. Don't know why you would even think that.

Herb , i hope you were not thinking i was knocking this program ,because i wasn't. Just sounds like Mark may have thought they shouldn't be here . I have two grandsons and a grand daughter that will soon be in that stage to race jr's. I'm like you , I will drop all my racing to help and watch them .I also have had racing in my whole life and a big part of my family's life. See ya there and good luck.

Div 9 typically has the best car counts across the board of all IHRA races.
