Guys! Rumors of our impending demise are just that, rumors!
Raceway Park is quite healthy and is not in danger of closing. We believe that we know who the "reliable source" is and we are fairly certain that it is a former (from an ancient time) employee that still has a vindictive bug in his ale when it comes to E-Town. All it would have taken was a phone call from Jeff Burke to find the truth. VERY irresponsible journalism In my opinion. Jeff, you have to check your sources more thoroughly, especially when it comes from the likes of someone that has now been banned from TWO NHRA facilities!
We are currently hard at work completing our brand new 1.35 mi. road course. This is a very labor intensive and expensive proposition. Hardly the sort of effort and enterprise that you would expect from someone about to sell!
As far as impending noise legistlation on a State level.......There is none! Total fabrication.
Of course, we would love to have no noise restrictions or curfews, but we have been able to live with what we have and still thrive. We have been battling these sorts of rumors since 1973! This one seems to have an air of legitimacy only because it appeared on a well known web site. DON'T believe everything that you read!
