As one of the ballbreakers.......I congratulate you for getting up and down a few times and getting in the 10's.......
You'll find that most racers...even ballbreakers like me are really pretty good guys.....and will usually help you in a heartbeat.....

I guess ballbreakers wasnt the right word, you have never said anything with "nastiness" and not many have. "Disbelievers" or people who question my motives, sincerity, or honesty that a different game. Like I said those are far and few between, but people who are openly nasty to someone well, my guess is Im not the only one they are that way to. The rest I will have to prove to over time and in person, not a "Ill show you" attitude, but "show" in a positive sense, it wont happen today, but 9s are next....then back to the 10s with the 5.7. 9s may take another T&T day, Im sure they will but the cars got it in her no doubt. At that point on to my next projects and Ive got 3 on the slate. I REALLY dig Arts car, and am thinking a 4 popper is something I would enjoy more from a motor perspective. If you cant bust a little chops and have fun I mean....Ive got a thick skin and I can (and do) laugh at myself with the best of em. But no doubts when a racer is in need all the stand up guys are there. Thanks Rich...(and you dont bust chops any harder than I listen to 14 hrs a day from the old man...lol) Its been a great experince I wouldnt change 1 item in this Adventure....not 1...(ok maybe loosing all the skin with a grinder on my knucke that took 3 weeks before I couldnt see the tendon but hey at least I know my first aid and wound dressing are top notch, ooouuucccchh) |

Drooze
Your car looks Great. The Best of Luck to You This Year. As you i will be a newcomer to Stock Elim. this year, after a 30 year lay-off from driving. I was just wondering if the wrap you put on your car is costly ???? Or is it just as much as a nice paint job.... Pistol Pete 1374 I/SA |

For Frrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeee (Doing my best Adam Sandler impersonation) Wraps are becoming competitive. There is a REASON GatorWraps has a much real estate on our car as they do. Originally it was to be wrapped at Pomona, but we busted going there. But our Title sponsor picked up the rest of the cost..... Call a bunch of wrap companies tell them where and how you will be competing, out of the 3 I called all 3 would do it under cost for real estate (under 1500) Racing wraps have BIG market potential for these companies, and most of the companies are smaller and trying to make a name for themselves in performace/racing application GatorWraps.com for example. So, for us even IF we had to cover the full cost of $1500 (thats about the "at cost" price) but only 1 had a good graphics guy (GatorWraps) The only reason I picked GatorWraps was they were out of Pomona and Vegas so they had installers in that area. Id call around and "pitch" them, explaining, Sportsman racers are just starting to see the value in wraps, in your local area you will be seen at the track often, use us as an example of how they can promote the wrapping and the exposure....see if they would do it "at cost" if they get say a 14x24 spot somewhere, like I said 2 companies I called out of the blue were all game. 1 was in Ohio and the other we ended up using. I like it because like others have mentioned, time to sell, bored of the look......rrrrriiiiiippppppp, start over. THAT I like, I have a short attention span.....what was I talking about..? Oh nevermind ![]() |
