Gary,
I would guess that most of these events are probably already full. The past two events at Infineon sold out in a matter of days, and sometimes hours. Two years ago I signed up for the race at Infineon. I was on the waiting list and got a call from them a week prior to me deploying overseas with the military. I ended up having to let my slot go, and was out the money. This year, I bought a slot in Jan. for Infineon again for the Sept event. It looks as though I will not be able to make this event either due to another deployment. I did not specify that my car was a Stocker, but am entered. Hopefully things will change, and I will be able to attend. More than likely, I will be out the $60 again though. The no refund policy is a joke, and the fact that you can't give your ticket away should be addressed. If I can't use the ticket I paid for, I should either be able to get my money back, or have the right to transfer it to someone else. It isn't like they don't have someone waiting in line to take the slot. For this reason, I will not enter again.

Military deployment and the Pinks people wouldn't refund your entry money? That is poor judgement on their part.....Thanks for serving our country. Everything seems to be about money these days, I guess....WJ

Not lately but still have the car if that counts. Even worse it's a stick car LOL!! Haven't raced it since last year but plan on the IHRA/SSSSA ProAm next month. I simply can't afford chasing grade points just so I can enter NHRA Full Throttle events, at least for the moment.

I know the feeling. Sold the Camaro last year to build a stocker. Got tired of all the junk cars grudge racing with very unexperienced drivers. The K car I am building now is and 85 Monte Carlo SS 305. Cant wait to have it finished. The last car we built for stock was a 1996 Firebird but I missed the carburator too much.

So, since you run "all out", we would run off the indexes with no break out?
If so, I'm in. That would make one less thing I could screw up. Hmmm, still have to let go of that button on time.

I don't want to step on Gary's thread but he got my curiosity on this subject so I called Rich Christensen and talked to him about this. From what I understand he is wanting to know how much interest there would be in doing an All Out show with Stock and Super Stock.
I for one think it would be a great way to promote and showcase S/SS. Plus you get a chance to win some big money. I also think the stands would be full and you would see some awesome competition and of course wheelies. He also mentioned that it would take between 400 and 500 entries to do a show and he would like it to be at a track in Texas. Of course this is my opinion but I think it would be the greatest show on earth and people would be able to see some awesome cars. So what do you guys think? Do you think there would be enough interest? This would include NHRA and IHRA cars.
