The Dodge is worthless (well not worth any more than anyone paid) UNLESS its "Done" then well noone or very few are going to spend the time, energy and emotion to build one and mothball it. Dodge announced the DP, Ford pulled and built something to compete and was first to market, now there are more DP's "In the wild" than CJ's .... Thats my opinion as to why it has happened..... Just my 2 cents

Drooze, you are right! I just race an old Thunderbolt now,. but way back when I raced a new Bel Air chevy 409 in 62, then raced for Dodge in 64 and 65 (wish I had those back! When I moved here 6 years ago, I found the car I race now on e-bay. On my third retirement job I worked for a Ford dealer for 3 years in sales. I know that Ford's idea was to have those cars competeing! I know that most of these factory race cars are not profitable to build.....not like the OLD days! just my .02?
