Regardless of who you choose to get your gears from, ship 'em off to Jim Bailey at FINISHED (finishedracing.com). REM & Cryo treatments together make them last longer *and* roll more freely, which I hadn't considered! Found a little ET in my car. The Pro Stock and Comp guys have learned the secret. It's actually pretty cheap, too.

Send any gear set, street or pro to Jim Bailey and have them Cryoed and rem finished. They will last longer, turn more freely and the cost is minimal. Turn around time is fast. Go to http://www.finishedracing.com.

Ditto on the Jim Bailey process. Just got my new gears for my new car. Great. When I had my old car 69 440-6, I had Jim do a set of 4.56. We never before had a gear that kept turning when you turned it by hand. No noise, and we never broke it. 3750 lb car, 1.34 best 60 ft, go 1.38 anywhere. He cyro's them and then does a chemical process. Really nice stuff. Not expensive.

Ace Pro gears. I break in by driving around for some 10-30 miles with header mufflers. I didn't see "anyone" who would question the mufflers or my choice of tires
