Just in the thinking stages, in a bit I will start thinking about how much money I dont have! This will be long term.

The 426/365 has been rated to 300hp which would put you in G or H stock depending upon the weight of the car....this is a unknown combination whereas the 383 and 273 are proven combos.....the hemi is really expensive to build and run.

I believe the Hemi can only be ran in a post body, The Coronet 500 were hardtops.

Thats is correct for the 65s unless he wants to build a MoPar crate hemi with a single 850 CFM carb for IHRAs crate motered class.

We don't have any IHRA tracks here in the northwest, Does AHRA have any crate motor classes? There are a couple tracks around that have switched to AHRA.
