We have Rick Stewart at the start, he rushes you to stage, makes a BIG FOOL out of himself & the NHRA with his antics, THEN to add insult to injury, we have Gary Gerald at the end who can't wait to interview you and talk about all the NEGATIVE things: how you can deal with your loss, your crash, your fire, points loss, tragedy, etc. People like this we don't need to represent us drag racers.

I think we all miss Buster Couch and Steve Evans. Buster was great to see at the start of a race and Steve was great to see at the end of a race.

Another one is Bret Kepner...always did great interviews. ESPN needs to take Lewis Bloom (Statguy) out of the truck and put him into the booth..he's the real deal....nothing like Louie announcing at a D1 race...he's the best !!!!

I agree, Lewis Bloom should have a more prominate role in the telecasts, his knowledge runs circles around Paul Page. And Rick Stewart is an attention *****, all his stupid gestures, and actions are embarrasing.

In a perfect "sportsman" world broadcast you could have Kepner (who really gave a crap about SST-TF), Mr. Bloom (who spent tons of time at E-Town seeing/announcing a lot of racers grow) Leo Taugher (think I'm spelling that right) who vocalized D3, Nationals and some D1 races in the past. And Mr. Frey who encompasses so many facets of drag racing's sportsman and professional interests on a whole.
