I've got a question for you.
If 2 cars (same package, class etc.) run better than 1.25 under does the combo get hit twice with instant horsepower? This could happen in a couple of cases in stock and superstock. And I would like it to be clarified one way or the other?

Should get it twice, right? That would make it an obvious bogus factor, not just one really sharp guy with a really outstanding car.

I talked to a guy who is involved with a Challenger with the 5.7 motor. 600hp with a cam change and valve spring change. Imagine what these motors are capable of.

Did you notice the big bad blown Ford Mustand AA/S car is third at only 139 MPH right behind the DP Challengers at an altitude track with a low barometer? LOL Yeah NHRA the HP factors are dead on.

Third, yet it's still 2 tenths in front of the first "real" car.

Merryfield over Johnson for F/SA class. Johnson goes red ,both cars go 11.0's to help weigh down the average. ........Tom

The average does not mean anything when one goes more than 1.25 under. It starts over at the next national event with new horsepower.

Any resemblance between the "high rise" in this photo and that of the new Drag Pucks is not purely coincidental. A photo of Drag Pak No.1 is shown for reference in case you need updated info. Yes, those headers have a Mopar part no.!! LOL JC |
