I'm not sure why Carey Bales was DQ’ed at Chicago...Does anyone know why?

The "R" on the window from Chicago means the driver was going to try to set the Record for that particular class.

James, Until you actually meet Drooze and crew in person, you'll never understand their passion. Yes, I agree and dissagree on how they do certain things, but you have to give them an "A" for effort. I wish them the best.

Picked it up in Lebanon IN Wensday around 5PM. 1 1-2 shift on his street, quick do's and don't. Towed on open aluminum trailer straight to Bristol Thursday in time for sign in and tech.

The cars maiden run down the track was the #1 qualifying run.
She won class later in the day....
I learned a lot about this new race car, especially what not to do in eliminations! Will make some tweaks to it for my driving style.
And yes it earned HP on Monday.
The car is called the Minuteman Missile.
Missile's go flat out, they don't lift.

Yes it was Andrew, but Carey Bales was driving the car there. Carey's Car # is 316D and he ran in the F/SA class at Chicago.


So what is correct ws it the madon voyage or had the car been run and DQ'ed before.

It was a great run and congrats on the fast car. I was just curios as the two responses seem to contradict each other.

actually eric was told he was light the first run down the track so he put 60 pds in and went the same ET and not to mention it was atleast 3 and a half tenths slow there or more so your looking at a 10.20 F/sa car fing rediculous if that is how you spell it! Lets go back to the seperate classes FI and real stock

What needs to happen with these cars is for them to be put in their own class. The reason they are in regular stock classes is the greed and lack of integrity by the management at NHRA. The only way we are going to change that is to quit going to national events. You all are condoning what they do by showing up and racing at Nationals. Let them run a few races with just Mustangs and Challengers and see what happens. I miss going to National events, I would love to go to Norwalk next week, but I didn't sign up because I feel like to do so would sancton what NHRA is doing. How do you think David Rampy felt at Bristol this weekend when the Challenger had him covered by 7 or 8 tenths?

The 5.7 hemi in the Challenger is under rated by about 100 hp. How long do you all think it will take to get that little gem in line.
