X-Tech Man, I think they took the Hp. off the street Hemi ? Some of the Division races, if you get Hp. they have you tear down. Happened to Robin Brown in Division 4 . Tom

I think NHRA removed horsepower from the Street Hemi in the '70 or '71 Challenger (can't remeber which, or, was it both years?), but I'm not sure they took it ALL of...
I hope somebody who knows that story gets on here and explains the HP numbers and what happened; there's a lot of hearsay attached to this particular mess.

Yes they FINALLY took some HP back off but only after almost everyone who had been running the combo either switched car bodies or quit running the Street Hemi. The point is.....the combo and car in questiion was NEVER certified yet STILL recieved the HP kick in the *****. The weather conditions at the track during this was KILLER AIR.
