Most likely weight. Jerico is about 68 lbs while a G-Force is about 90.

I have a Jerico in the stocker and a G-Force in my SS.
Jerico is around $3200 and a G-Force about $4200.

Biggest difference: customer service. G-Force will have your part in stock and will provide service if needed in a timely fashion. I've personally seen Mike Long take a transmission home from the track on a Sat afternoon and return it on Sunday morning. (You didn't hear that from me....).

Jerico will order your part and get it to you as soon as possible.

These are my experiences.

Actually Prestolite bought Quicktime and already owns Mr. Gasket, Lakewood, Hays, Accel and Mallory.
So to me it looks like they have the scattershield market covered. If I get a new one it will be a Quicktime. Very compact.
Go with the manual trans. You will love it. Brian

Thumbs up Re: Stocker 4 speeds

I may have a Hi-$ p/g and 2-3 converters for sale over the winter so i can afford to make this 4-speed project a reality. I know it's gotta be more fun.
