1st Rnd Q, Mike Leopold missed the run due to a bad starter, but they got it fixed for Q2. Burlin Taylor was on the bottom of the sheet originally just from pushing through the beams. Didn't see who broke (#55)
Q2... It never ceases to amaze me just how slow this place can be. It's almost as bad as Bristol. Converter's flashing at least 200 rpm less, and barely turning 6500 in the traps. Anecdotal evidence of anywhere from .07 to .10 slow. 60' was identical... A number of us lost a full mph... In what seems to be a tailwind!! 1:15 PM, 88.3deg, 62%, 28.96, 3840'

Re: the DQ... Don't know, but it sure shuffled the ladder!
I made wholesale changes to the car every run, dialed down .08 and ran dead-on. Had Hardy by just .001 on the tree as we were both um... conservative this morning. He parked it to take .001 stripe, also dead-on. Pretty awesome job. Check out DRC, as it was a pretty remarkable round of Stock. Lots of guys running the number, while the Hot Rod guys were all over the place. Great job for the class as a whole.

They let us la-hooo-zers get into the ET class since their field wasn't full. .023 and dead-on, back in the game, or "a" game at least. Got to shoot some finish line of Rnd 2 of Stock. I'll process and post those pics when I get home. Currently on hold for some verrry light drizzle.
The remainder of the Moser Axle Mania shootout is scheduled for tonight, with Myron Piatek (Stk) and Brandon Peterson (SS) left standing to represent the bottom-bulbers.

After a delay, got back to running. Won Rnd 2 of No-Box when my guy shifted low to high. Had another sprinkle, but they're back at it after another delay.

SS: Clayton over Cummings (-004 breakout)
Stk: Folk over Boertman (red) Moser Axle Mania 1/4-Finals, Myron Piatek (Stk) defeated a red-lighting Brian Folk (Super Rod). Folk is still in with his Top Dragster, and will run Brandon Peterson (SS) to complete the round (been running Funny Car while we waited for Folk to get back, and then had an oildown.). If Folk wins, he'll have to run Piatek AGAIN, in the semis. Bo Upton and Dave Elrod (both dragsters) are going into the semis... Here they come... SS/Production Deuce vs a Top Dragster, 6.90 to 4.80. (1/8th mile, no Crosstalk). Tree's in shadow... Folk's out -.003, Peterson's dead-on ZERO! It'll be two bottom-bulb class cars going head to head, and 2 dragsters. Peterson drives for Homer Carty, who has a Win and a RU in this event.
