They did not use a 427 425 motor in 67 fullsize chevys. Just the 427 385 motor. Im very suprised that NHRA will let u Run a 425 h.p. motor in a 67 car. Considering they only made like 11 of them in 1967.

It is interesting, esp since the guide lists the 425 HP engine in both Stock and SS in every... every combination of big cars Wagons, convertibles,Caprice, SS, Impalas, ect... But ONLY as manual tranny... Hummm!
