Well, it's Tues and maybe Glendora gets a travel day back from Indy but wondering if anybody is checking the classification guides for hits or we wait for Travis to alert with a thread like he did last time (BTW a nice gesture on his part). Really curious if there will be any "special" hits like they did Art.
And yea you guys care...BS or not you care.

Another side is that my car which (without me) is probably one of the lightest with the 360 and the 8 3/4 rear was about 3040 no driver. The Dana cars are heavier, and in my case the oversize driver makes a difference. The Hemi is heavier I think also. Those new cars (Fords & Mopars) have stirred more interest than has been there in a while. I look for a DP shootout maybe next year, and maybe some more interesting heads up stuff. I'm sure the Fords are looking also. We really need GM out there. For one thing, all the people with the Bowtie tattooed on their forehead would probably calm down. But then the 68 Hemi cars did the same thing.

I couldnt get excited about it unless they used the runs for the AHFS adjustments.........It sounds more like like "Top Under Rated Limited Production" to me ! 2 cars combos....New Mustangs and New DP Challengers. Thats about as lame as the Hemi Shoot outs.

Those new Challengers and Mustangs look FAT and GOOFY compared to the original VERY NEAT LOOKING body styles these modern-day, bizarro world reincarnations are patterned after. Also, watching them in action on YouTube, I basically see the same cookiecutter-type racecars doing the same burnouts with the very same obnoxious, constipated-sounding, two-step-rev-limited, sputtering launches. REALLY exciting....yawwnnn.

Today, NHRA has decided to allow all traditional stockers to add any nitrous kit of their choosing........Drag Paks and late model Mustangs are NOT allowed any more power adders than they already have......Tunnel Rams and Blowers appear to be sufficient to allow them to remain competetive.....
ALL NOS kits have to be approved by the NHRA Tech dept.......and a License will be required to use one.......You must fill out the paperwork and send in your check......Your number will then show an N in it to show you are using the sauce........LOL
