All very true Doug -- they just a few minutes ago stopped working on
the track here -- they scraped , sprayed and dragged till they were happy with the results - tomorrow they will spray and drag again before we go out in the morning - 9am sharp - starting with SuperStreet - then Stock .......everyone gets one hit then elims .

And how about Joe Greek? With Joe Cokinos being his real name - he shifted his P/S Chevy S-10 to the number one spot today at -1.063 . #2 is Don Fezell with his CJ and we all know he can go faster than the 9.578 he went today-but today its Joe on the provisional pole -good for him! ! ! One other item - spotted a neat mural today - on Dave Glicks' trailer - Dave, a D1cert team member and a sponsor along with being President of Glick Fire Equipment pulls this trailer behind his coach - if you get a chance take a closer look - its parked near the scales .

What a difference a day makes -- today will be bright and sunny and Fall type chilly - but this is the Atco that most D1 guys and gals have learned to love over the years - to sum it up in one word - fast ! ! ! With the temp right now at a brrrrrr 53 degrees - humidity at 68% but will burn off some -barometer @ 29.80 and the VP dropped to .31 all add up to 313 final DA .

Even at this hour i've watched many new entries coming thru the gate - must have been afraid of the rain or just couldn't get here sooner - doesn't matter - we'll all get a shot this morning and Tech is still open .

It will be a beautiful day here at Atco - join us ........and if you can't just come by here and follow along ..............

What a super morning - everyone here is glad they came .S/Street got their hit without incident and then Stock went out - most were three to five better than yesterday - mostly weather related increases ,The talk of the pits is Tom Kreeber with his early Mopar going 10.12 in B/SA - well done . SuperStock coming up................

BTW , for all the naysayers - the track had big teeth this morning .

S/Stock got their pass in - most were like the stockers - 3 to 5 faster and
were happy with the great track .Many had fearsbut went away after seeing giant wheelie after giant wheelie . S/Gas out on the track now .

Stock round one will happen in a few hours with some interesting match-ups --

Wow, I see that Div.6 racer Norm Lapointe is at Atco with both his Stocker & S/Ser. Thats a bit of a haul from Alberta Canada. Good luck Norm.
