I'm looking forward to racing next year for the first time in 3 years. I don't mean to sound overly pious or anything, but having been away for so long, I'm just thankful to get the chance to travel and spend time with my kids at the track again and I look forward to seeing some old friends.

My car is off of Santa's list, I'm just not going to spend any more money on my "Dead Horse".

We will have "Live From" reports from very different places.

For those keeping score we drove 2386 miles one way to lose to Cour heads up fourth round in Seattle. On the way back we stoped at Denver to lose to Hagburg's "Paper Car" Nascar Hemi in the class final.

Yes I have an old dog in the hunt!!!!

I guess I have had it wrong for all these years. I always thought that the goal in this sport was to win on Sunday, collect the big trophy, the big purse and the decal money at $300 a copy. Getting a Rienhart interview appears to be fun also. Don't get me wrong, I can certainly respect the class win and the bragging rights........................... BUT............................... I think the BIG picture gets very lost on some of these threads.

He claimed a "heads up " lose and a "class final" lose. Whatever, this is not about Larry, never my intention. Bottom line, lots of talk about how the "new" cars have tons over the old school carbed stuff, and tons left to go. How about just race them on Sunday with your shoe polish for the BIG prize.
