Congrats Jack. Seems like a rash of this happening. People getting their Z/28's back. Jim's been out in the garage ALOT lately!!! Another cool part of his, is that the title is STILL IN HIS NAME!
Have Fun!

Found a great original picture earlier this evening and as soon as I remember how to change a tiff image to a jpeg I'll post it . My bodyman stopped by the shop late this afternoon and told me how glad he was that I got my car back - he's known it almost since new - that and the fact that his daughters college tuition payment is due soon .He really didn't make my day but his sure picked up .

Jack, that's very cool that you got your old Z-28 back. My first musclecar was a Rally Green '69 when I was a Senior in High School, but I sold it to buy a nice '71 Camaro (seemed like a good idea at the time!) Many years later I tried to track it down with no success, so I bought my current '69 instead. This one used to be a hard running SS/JA & KA when raced by Louis Desjardins in the '70's and Fred Thibeault up until the late '80s, but now it's just a fun street/strip ride.
I still carry around the VIN # for my old '69 in my pocket, just in case I find it at a car show though! |
