Kempton,
I heard about your old car, it fell of the ferry some years ago coming to the US when the current owner didn't set the park brake correctly, evidently you can find it at the bottom of the Strait !! LOL

Billy - They do still look great today - one other thing - if you notice the wheelwells are filled - thats because it wore H 70 X 15 Goodyears - pretty big meats for that time .

Happy for you Jack. One year ago this past weekend I was given the opportunity to buy back my 66 Chevy II Super Sport. Of course I jumped at the opportunity and bought it from the same couple we sold it to 22 years ago. It is at the body shop now in the process of being restored. It will relive life on the street. And yes...the title was still in Dad's name.
Congrats again. |

A very rare picture of a Z/28 . A flat hood RS equiped car. Absolutely love the Cragar S/S wheels with the tall rubber filling the wheelwells. Jack--Take it back to the beginning with a updated 302 and suspension with TKO600 5 speed and drive it like you stole it.-----------John

[QUOTE=Travis Miller;233179]Everyone should study your photo. Not every '69 Z/28 came with a cowl induction hood. The cowl hood was an option that could be ordered on the car but it was not a standard part of the Z/28 package.
Travis Travis - Very true but the ZL2 option ( cowl hood ) was not yet available when this Z was built as its an early car (second week of Decenber 1968 ) . Also it was built without Spoilers ( D80 code ) . Anyone with a spare 302 hanging around ?
